Practical Application: The space is a double garage that was converted into a flatlet. We needed to increase the surface area in kitchen, minimise electricity consumption and get the space to flow better.

What you can’t tell from looking at the pictures: While positioned in the middle of Johannesburg, the cottage looks onto a beautiful bird sanctuary and adds to the calmness and stillness that the cottage exudes.
